As you are well aware, the theme of the Conference will be "Practical Clinical Techniques in Sports Medicine" with a specific emphasis on rehabilitation (medical and musculoskeletal). Special seminars and mini-seminars will focus on current trends and recent updates of medical, nutritional, and psychological care of athletes, as well as the latest on the scientific aspects of training. Delegates to the conference will also be given the opportunity to register for International Federation of Sports Medicine's Sports Rehabilitation Course. By completing all the requirements, delegates will receive a certificate of attendance for this internationally recognised course. The programme will also include an opporunity to participate, learn and socialize during exercise sessions and practical workshops at the end of each busy day.
The conference will also include an exhibition area where members of the industry will familiarize delegates with equipment and products that can improve the medical care and scientific support to patients and athletes.
Although the meeting will include keynote lectures, there will be an emphasis on the practical demonstration of techniques, as well as hands-on clinical workshops to familiarize delegates with the clinical techniques that are used in medical and musculoskeletal injury rehabilitation.
This conference will be of particular value to all clinicians (doctors, physiotherapists, biokineticists, and fitness trainers) who are involved in, or would like to develop further hands-on expertise in caring for their patients.
